RobotC is a commercial embedded system development environment (i.e. a PC based development system/compiler integrated with a embedded RTOS) targetted for the education market and the small user and hobbyist market. It provides a complete basic embedded system development solution.

RobotC utilizes a P-code virtual machine that can be easily ported to multiple platforms. Some of the available platforms for RobotC include the Lego(TM) Mindstorms NXT and RCX and the VEX from Innovation First.

Several thousand copies of RobotC have been downloaded. RobotC has been used (as of 11/06)  in over 20 different classrooms totalling over 1,000 students.
